At Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, Tea Ceremony(Indoor), Outdoor Tea Ceremony -“Nodate”, Indoor Tea Ceremony in English, Indoor Tea Ceremony for Children will be held.
Tea Ceremony (Indoor) requires an advanced reservation.
Reservation period : August 10 (Thu.) to September 10(Sun.)

Tickets for Indoor Tea Ceremony for Children, Indoor Tea Ceremony in English, and Outdoor Tea Ceremony -“Nodate”, will be sold on the day of the event.
The participation fee for is 800 yen including tax except for Indoor Tea Ceremony for Children.
The fee of Indoor Tea Ceremony for Children is 500 yen including tax.
*During the Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony event period, admission is free.

This tea ceremony will be held indoors. It is intended for everyone.

Outdoor Tea Ceremony-“Nodate”

This tea ceremony is to be held outdoors and beginners are encouraged to participate freely.

Indoor Tea Ceremony for Children

This tea ceremony provides a fun opportunity for children below junior high school age to learn manners of tea ceremony with guardians. For one or two children, one guardian's participation is required.
*Only at the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum

  • Eligible Participants: Children below junior high school age and their guardians.
    One guardian can participate with one or two children

About participation fee

Payment can be made on the day of the event through cashless methods such as transportation IC cards, nanaco, Rakuten Edy, WAON, QUICPay, iD, or by cash. Credit cards are not accepted.

 

Matters to be attended to

  • Please refrain from participating if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever or any other signs of ill health.
  • Indoor venues will be ventilated regularly.
  • The ownership of photos, videos, and records taken during the event belongs to the organizers, and they may be published in magazines, websites, blogs, etc. Please be aware of this.

Winners of the Pre-Reservation for Tea Ceremony (Indoor)

  • On the event day, please present the printed or displayed version of the Exclusive Code from the link at the Tea Ceremony (Indoor) Ticket Counter.
  • Please be sure not to delete the Exclusive Code linked in the email, as it will be required for on-site settlement. Please note that you are required to check in at the Tea Ceremony (Indoor) Ticket Counter and make the tea ceremony fee payment at the venue by the designated meeting time mentioned in the email. If you arrive after meeting time, we cannot guarantee your participation. Please ensure you arrive with ample time to spare.
