Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony is a large-scale tea ceremony festival which is open toparticipation from the general public. Participants can attend tea ceremonies held in buildings at the Hama-rikyu Gardens and Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, and open-air ceremonies held under the autumn sky.
All tea ceremonies are held in cooperation with organizations which conduct activities in Tokyo. A variety of tea ceremony schools,including the three major historical schools Omote-senke, Ura-senke and Mushanokoji-senke; collectively known as the San-senke,they will gather for the Grand Tea Ceremony.
